Let’s take a moment to realize how beautiful this moment is. Dave looks so innocent! His question is so sweet, he doesn’t say “I want to be”, he asks “Could I be?”. And it’s freaking nice and adorable. 

And look at Kurt’s face. He opens his eyes for one second and smiles. And that’s a really genuine smile. He’s truly surprised by David’s sweetness and this is really amazing. Because he realizes that the bully that used to make his life an hell was just a scared boy. And he truly forgives him.

He stares after Hummel and wonders, because maybe his anger is more real than anything else, and for some reason Dave brings it out in him. Except that anger has lessened considerably for some reason, almost gone overnight.
