How I Feel About Kurtofsky Now

princessunicorn90:

I’m getting all my shipping-feels out now, it seems, so I thought I’d throw some two-cents in for my OTP.

Here’s what I believe right now-

  • Kurt and Dave are perfect for each other and beautiful together.
  • I don’t want to see them get together in this season of Glee.

I know a lot of people feel down because of Max’s interview and the fact that Kurt and Dave were deciding to be friends at the end of the ep, but now is so not the time for romance/dating with them and I feel that, organically, it won’t be any time soon.

That said though, I’ve never been more certain that they’re soulmates and that they will find their way to one another someday. Maybe it’ll be 5 years from now in New York, when Dave finally has that sports agent job. Maybe I’m about to go write a fic about this future for them right the fuck now.

The truth is though, I don’t think we need to be sad that our ship likely won’t be realized as a romantic thing on this show, or at least not this season. As far as I’m concerned, we already have the best love story of them all, if not one of the best in television history. This is honestly more than I could ever ask for from an OTP. Anything else I can easily craft myself, so long as I am given ample room to imagine it. <3
