I’ve learned so, so, sooo much since I joined the Glee fandom, and more specifically the Pirate fandom. I can’t put it into words and you wouldn’t understand me cough accent cough but you all have really taught me A LOT.
Not only about tolerance, not only about LGBTQ people. Just… I learned to have and show something like hope. Because now I know that there are people out there, that there isn’t only me, my friends, my family and my white girl problems.
I fight everyday for this, for what I’ve learned through all of you. I call everyone out on their bullshit, because some kind of thoughts and prejudices can’t be allowed. I am 21 and well, I still have a lot of decisions to make, but your experiences will help me to get them right.
So just that, thanks. I’ve met awesome people here, even though some of them don’t even know that I exist. You’re not perfect but you’re guiding lights in my life, keep that in mind because that’s what really matters.
